GFR#2 failed its MoT on fork oil seals a couple of weeks ago. Not wanting to get in to cunning plans involving a length of plastic drain pipe I decided to drop the legs out and take them to John at 'Revs'.

He did his usual excellent service on them but said that the chrome on the legs is beginning to pit a little right at the bottom. Should be OK for a while but I may need to get them hard chromed some time in the future.

MoT booked for tomorrow afternoon after I finally got all the fiddly fairing scrwes back in. It's at times like this that I remember why i don't usually go for fully faired sports bikes.

Time to dig GFR#1 out of the shed now and see if I can get it running again. I'm trying to perusade an old GeN member to do the MRC Cadwell track day on it :)

Revs is in Halesowen near Birmingham (England). They are suspension specialists but they also rebuild engines (mainly MX stuff).
