Hi all,
I any member knows there where about of Gilera gfr K710DRX, or Scott Callagham and could inform me I would be most grateful
I was looking for a rolling gfr frame with a view to installing my spare Nordwest engine and making something similar to a Piuma
Scott was looking for a spare gfr engine and we agreed that he would bid for a gfr on ebay, which I provided funds for him to buy and transport back to his home in Ipswich, as I had bought the bike we agreed he would send the registration documents to me, which he never did, he then advised me he was moving house, and shortly after stopped replying to emails, I googled his new address but they say no such road number.
I would advice any members offered this bike, or parts for sale by Scott, do not touch it.
I would also like to be informed if you hear of it being advertised for sale and know of any contact details.
I look regularly on ebay to see if it has been put up for sale, but nothing so far.
As many of you know I do not live in the UK and only visit occasionally for a short time, which makes it harder for me to track down somebody It is most unfortunate that a member of GeN, who are supposed to be enthusiasts and willing to help each other should behave in this manner.
Regards
John

Strangely a DVLA Vehicle enquiry quotes the 'date of liability' as being 24/05/12. That suggests that it was at least properly SORN notified until recently.

Unfortunately, without access to the PNC or DVLA database you can't find out what address the DVLA have for the registered keeper.

were you thinking of putting this project back on the road ?, or just use it on the track ?

I have a crono rolling chassis which you could have for next to nothing. The frame has a crack at the headstock so I doubt I could put it back on the road but it would certainly weld up for the track or project.

Offering up the crono frame to the GFR frame, it looks identical.
