Thought it was about time I updated my signature to reflect the reduction in my fleet.
GFR#1 (the one I have had since 1999) is still nestling in my garage and I can't see me ever parting with it.
In fact I just picked up a spare rear shock linkage and dog bones for it with a view to making a better job of the refurbishment I did over the winter. Gives me time to have the needle roller bearing inner races machined up that I couldn't find anywhere and perhaps also treat it to new spherical bearings. The fork work Revs did has made me realise they were going off a bit and the back needs to match. Might get them to have a look at the shock.
It still goes reasonably well even though now on 46000 Kms. Only to be ridden in short bursts these days however given the state of my hips.
