it is the gfr engine, i have replaced the end can and have been told i might need different jets could this be true? i check the carb and everything seemed ok then it stared leaking fuel, might change the carb to the crono one and change jets see if that helps. Why can't i have things like a parts cleaner or ultrasound cleaner

Hi

where did your carb leak?
The fuel level in the bowl is higher then the sealing of the bowl. Funny, but it is like that.
Have you changed this sealing?
It's worth to buy a set from DellOrto.
The other reason could be the 'swimmer' valve (not shure about the english word)
In my case this one always blocked in the closed position. Maybe it also can do this in the open position ;)

good luck, Joachim

Hi Joachim,
I think we understand swimmer, we call it a float valve.
My Nordie float sticks open if I close the tank tap and run it dry as most recommend, now I just stop the engine and leave the tank tap open.

Certainly sounds like it could be a stuck float valve.
