Greetings all.

I have a Dakota which I am attempting to return to the road after a long rest. I cannot really cope with the kickstart these days, and the starter motor is pretty well seized. Said motor bears the legend 'EFEL 3645' and thus far I have had no luck with Bob Wright/internet.

Is there anyone out there who can point me in the direction of a suitable replacement?

Many thanks.

I think there may be a number missing from the end. Possibly an EFEL 36457?

Appreciate your quick response. Bike is currently with Marcus at Rosso Corse, so I cannot be certain with regard to the part number, given the pics he has sent me. Certainly that extra digit chimes with my recollection of some of the sites I looked at, before the headache really kicked in! Will send these images to Marcus and see what he says.

I will check the number on my spare, it is for Nordie - Rc600, but think they are the same, be patient until weekend and I will have a look

Did you ever get to the bottom of this?

I've got a couple of Nordwest starters too - will check the serial numbers and see if there's any similarity.

Doh Alzheimer's got the better of me  when I was rummaging last week I should have dug out my spare starter motor, that looks like another rummage this weekend, I was impressed with all the bits and bobs stashed away here, amazing what you can collect over the years.
