Stehbolzen gibt es nicht mehr, es lebe die Stiftschraube.

Viele "racer", die ich kenne verbauen schon seit Jahren "andere" Stiftschrauben. Das generelle Problem liegt in der Gehäusekonstruktion, irgendwann ziehen sich die Gewinde aus dem Kurbelgehäuse, da nützen die fettesten Stiftschrauben oder die höchsten Anzugsmomenete nichts. Dazu muss sich jeder mal selbst Gedanken machen. Auch Ganzmetallkopfdichtung in Sonderkonstruktion aus dem Dragsterbau können da nicht "dichtend" helfen.

I'll try a brief summary.

HP is the technical guru of the german forum.
He tells that there is no need to replace the studs.
Adding some extra torque will end in strippeing the threads out of the engine housing.
Racers with high tuned engines did of course make their own studs. (but no informations how they do that)He did not think that solid metal gaskets will solve any problems with leaking or blown head gaskets.
Georg mentioned that there is not enough 'flesh' to make the threats bigger (M12)
So nothing new
