I can have a few rides first, (not many because of the cambelt age).

Just *don't* do that.
Cylinderheads and even valves are very hard to get

KTM flywheel clutch repair kit (watch out for Lucas video on youtube)
Nr. 584.40.026.000
Should also be used in the Aprilia Pegaso

Air filter:
FIAT - PANDA 1000; 1100 - TIPO 1.1 - UNO 1.1 ; 1.1ie ; 45 -LANCIA -Y10 Fire 1.0 ; 1.1 >the reference is BOSCH L 086 G.V
or K&N 33-2544

Oil filter:
Champion C302 or something like that for Renault engines

Me again, I thought it may be time for an update, I managed to get oil filters right off the shelf at a local automotive part supplier, the air filters they got in over night and I got a speedo cable from the local Yamaha dealer over night. It cost $37-00 which I guess is about 18 euro. The air filters were about $15-00 each. The speedo now works. I am still hunting cambelts, intake manifold and a carb float valve. I haven't had a response from Bob Wright yet but hopefully they can supply the rest of my needs. The information Joachim provided was spot on and led me directly to the parts. The sprage clutch is still an unknown as I haven't broken in to that area yet, I will wait until the cambelts arrive to keep all the parts in one place :S . Both bikes are looking good for the road in the nearish future and I have heeded your good advice and am not starting them until the cambelts are changed. Not easy either as the RC600 is sitting in the garage doorway pointing out in to the street!!!
I will update again soon, all the best wishes from New Zealand

Hi Kiwi,
A tip for Bob Wright, sometimes he is not looking his emails, or mine end up in his spam :S So If I mail him and don't get a reply I phone him and tell him to check his mail

The float valve maybe included in a carb repair kit from Saito.
'CAB-Y14
For Yamah XT600, XTZ600 and XTZ660
If i remeber right it is included, but....
Your local Yamaha dealer may also have it on stock.
Which manifold you are hunting for?
I have new ones for the place between air box and carb.
But it might be the other one you need :(

If you cannot get a timing belt, i will see to find one. Since Gottfried has gone a member of the german Gileraclub forum is selling belts from time to time. Maybe he still has one.
You should not buy one which has been stored fro years.

ciao Joachim

Hi kiwi the carb kits I got from Yambits included the float jet, I think it is Saito but with made in UK label :P
If its the inlet manifold between carb and head you need and can get cheap small batch ali castings made, you can cast a manifold and attach the carbs with 2 short lengths of rubber hose with hose clips, I made 4 manifolds like this,
