ok thank you for letting me know, I still havent found that info about pump removal, I am not sure it is on that page you mentioned- but will have a deeper dig today - lots of reading to do!

The workshop manual just says 'remove the water pump'. It's been 25 years since I did the 604 conversion, but as I remember, there are recesses on the pump body 'flange' that allow very careful levering with a suitable blunt instrument.once the three set screw fasteners have been removed. The pump I have in front of me that Kano Nordi made doesn't though, so it may be a false memory
