Hi
Hopefully trying to add some assistance,
You said all is good with the Electric start? so can you kick start it once its warm?and once warm you have it ticking over nice etc?
Check Plug Gap, Air Screw, Tick-over and Air Gap, If it Electric starts you can't be far away.
I have an 91 RCR (Kick start only)
Initially get a box to stand on and some proper footwear,
Get it just past TBC with the De compressor, maybe a whiff of throttle or set a slightly fast tick over
Don't try to KICK It, Swing with it like the old British stuff

Other than that Good luck!! Until you get the Knack.

P.s You have gone way passed Introductions, Maybe you could post in Nordwest / RC600 going forward Cheers.

Ah - the long swinging kick. Then old British stuff had manual advance/retard which helped.
Shall I move these later posts to a new topic folks ?
