I know Pemona have made batches of pumps in the past. Has anyone got 'blueprints' or accurately dimensioned drawings?

Paging Kano Nordi!

If I remember correctly your early DIY pumps proved short lived - or am I misremembering? if so, how short and why?

Demand for replacements seems to be ever growing and having seen what the Morini Riders Club did with the Dart alloy tank initiative, perhaps the time is right for something similar on Nordie/RC600 coolant pumps. Whee the Saturno ones smaller?

Hi 72,
I did not make full dimension drawings, more like detailed sketches, I have given them away to those who have shown interest in possibly making pumps or parts, I have not had any feed back from the couple of people who had my pumps, my Nordie is fitted one and after replacing the ally pulley which came loose when hot, with a steel one, has been OK.
Cheers John

Thanks John, I finally gave the one you handed to me years ago, on approval, to an old GeN committee member in need. I think it might be an early one though?

It was an early one, they were all run on my bike for a short time in my garage, but when I took it out on the road I was surprised how hot the pulley and belt got (friction drive) causing the alli pulley to expand and come loose.
Your friend will need to replace the pulley, if he has the original Gilera one it should fit.
Regards
John
