Hi Tiagus, The simple answer is yes you can, expect a reply from 72degrees. He put stronger springs in his hillclimb nordie clutch, but I don't know where they came from.

John

I think you might be thinking of my hill climb Morini which I treated to special WeeVee clutch springs and hex head clutch nuts (much easier to use than slotted ones).

Joachim might know of stronger springs. Otherwise it's a case of comparing free length and coil wire thickness I suppose and looking for a stronger alternative. Might be worth replacing the tired old ones though. There may be a section in the manual about how to check them. I didn't even put new springs in the 604, just a new set of friction plates.

Bob Wright has listed clutc hsprings on his site
I don't know wheter they are reinforce dod not.
www.bobwrightmotorcycles.co.uk/nordwestpriceguide.htm

Beside this Gottfried Hahne offers the so called Schwarzenegger clutch springs on his site.
www.hahne-power.de/english/engineparts.htm

Also Volker Heim offers something like that
www.heimracing.eu/03c1989aa40dc7837/03c1989aa40d7311f/index.php

Maybe it would be cheaper to measure the spring rate of the mounted springs and a look at a local industrial supplier for stronger springs with the same dimensions.

Good luck, Joachim

already have the head of the engine, the mechanic was able to arrange the four valves and the sanding cylinder engine, now I'm waiting for him to see what happens with the gearbox as it jumps gear changes gears, later I put photos.

You have heard about the so called 'bootle opener' problem?
