Big parcel arrived late this afternoon, moulds within.

On first inspection they look a lot more substantial than in the photos, pretty well made and the gelcoat surface finish is better than hoped for. The tank mould will need a wee bit of cleaning up but the rest are tidy and solid. Never realised just how large the tank was. The tailpiece/seat unit is taken from the rare Anniversary model as the immpression of the decals can be clearly seen in the gelcoat. Front mudguard is tidy too and the fairing halves are good too although the original fairing may be joined or bonded above and below the headlight to make it more rigid.

Will clean them up and add photos hopefully tomorrow. Plan will be to pull a fibreglass set from them to see where the flaws are, make good the surfaces that need patched/filled etc and then try a carbon fibre set - that should look pretty smart. Expensive, but smart.
