Much appreciated John, only if you have time, no urgency.

Hi O-B,
The main tubes are 28mm O/D, the smaller tubes behind the tank and up to the seat are 20mm O/D, if I had an ultrasound thickness tester I could have told you wall thickness ;)
Do you have a cunning plan in place of a CX or GRF frame, what you need to top it is a big bore kit, 72 degrees ported head and Keihin carbs  I wonder where i put them
Sounds interesting
John

It's a flight of fancy at the moment, pure left field thinking and you know how my mind works by now so indulge my fantasy for a moment. Guy on the bay of fools is selling a set of moulds for racing bodywork, tank, seat etc for the Saturno. I'm thinking make a set of carbon fibre bodywork, build a perimeter frame for it based on the real Saturno frame dimensions but build it around my Husqvarna motor/inner frame/swingarm. Not a Saturno as such but a cafe racer inspired by it. Loads cheaper than buying a real one, which ain't happening, and the Husky would be similar in output if not a tad more bhp. Yes, no, maybe?

That idea had crossed my mind too...... ;) although i don't think many people are racing Saturnos in the UK regularly.
