Hi Chris, If you don't get a better offer before April next year when I should be back into the UK, I can lend you mine ;)

Thanks John, I appreciate the offer. Hope it doesn't sound ungrateful if I say I hope I have the bike fixed before then! Cheers.

Lets see if you get a better offer, isn't there enough of the damaged peddle there to copy?

Unfortunately not, the major part of the lever was snapped off. As I sat in the ambulance and the pain of the dislocated shoulder kicked in I never thought of asking if anyone had swept up all the broken bits for me to keep!

Hi Chris,
If I take mine off and draw it up for you will that get you started to make a copy?

That would be very helpful John, thank you. My assumption thus far is that the lever is unique to the Saturno. However, a friend of mine, who is a much more experienced motorcycle engineer, has suggested that it may be possible to use temporarily a lever off another Italian lightweight of that era. Given the development path of the Saturno I'm sceptical and not sure how to research that idea. I think I'll start by contacting and visiting a few specialist Italian dealers such as North Leicester Motorcycles, the Morini people. Thanks again for getting involved in my self inflicted Saturno woes!
