Isn't that what 'we' are about? Collective knowledge and support....even if it's your own fault for chucking your precious motorcycle up the road...;}

Looking at the lever and rear set mechanism it doesn't look particularly complex or problematic to remake, or adapt from another bike so I reckon you'd be able to modify or adapt something quite successfully.

They are meant to be ridden even if there is the possibility you may fall off :blush:

I agree that bikes are meant to be ridden not just polished. I have seven road bikes all of which are taxed and insured to be ridden. The value of the help and encouragement offered by forums such as this one is enormous and In recognition of that I always make sure I express appropriate thanks. Speaking of help(!) if anyone is able to send me a decent resolution photo or two of a complete rear lever assembly that would be very welcome. Cheers.

I've just purchased (for my work) a nice 4 axis milling machine centre which should be installed once they've knocked a hole in the side of the building big enough to get it in....if you're not in a hurry and are planning on a rebuild over the winter I could machine up a replacement...but you probably have a network of friends in a similar position nearer to home, but the offer is there.....as I've also got a head gasket to do for John out of thick copper, which I promised at least 2 years ago....ahem.... ;)

you have the possibilities, the skills and the money for a 'replica'?
Are there others who are interested in getting a spare brake lever?

I have 2 Saturnos
#uno overruned by a Volkswagen and just resting in parts.
It will be back... somedays
#due aehh.... also rest in parts ;)
I had a look and found the brake lever of the #uno on this. I'm just wondering how it has survived the hit of the car bumper. Anyway....
Somewhere i should find another (original) brake lever.
If you will try to make a replica and if i will get it back (granted!) i can send it to you. But first i have to find it ;)

ciao Joachim
