Hi - just a quick wee question. Saturno front brake fluid. Manual says Dot 4. Top of M/Cyl (Standard fitment as far as I know) says refill with Dot 3 or 5. I'm slightly confused and have done some research into what's compatible and what's not.
What do you all use?

every kind of brake fluid that is based on alcohol is compatible.
But be carefull, don't use the DOT5 stuff based on silicon which is used by Harley.
The right stuff is called DOT5.1 oder 5+ or something like that.
There should be words like methyl ester.... on the package.
Never ever use silicone or mineral oil break fluid on you Gilera!!! That might be dangerous and expensive.

If you are not shure, use DOT3 or 4.
