Good morning!
I've imported my Saturno from Europe, so I assume I'll need to replace the headlamp with a UK spec one to pass MOT?
However, I'm a bit puzzled as the lens itself seems to be symmetrical. It also doesn't have an E code nor a direction arrow on it - it has an A and NL (both in circles) markings. Some Google searching shows it could be a moped 'Driving Lamp'? Is it legal?
Hoping someone can help!
Thanks
Rob

I think they just dip up and down not to left or right when on dip, I've never ridden mine in the dark. it came from the UK but is now in L-H drive country, they are a funny size and could be hard to find, Joachim will be along in a minute to tell you where you can find an alternative ;)

Thank you.
The lens is symmetrical so it makes sense that it would dip with no kick to the side and that's what it seems to do on my garage wall!
I remember vaguely that there were a couple of old mopeds (Fantic possibly?) that used same or similar unit but I can't locate anything via t'Internet. Maybe my old brain is misremembering...

Yes it's a strange situation when you can dredge up trivia from 30 years ago, but then forget what you went upstairs for
Now if I could only remember the moped from 30 years ago...
*sigh*

As long as it dips and your tester isn't an utter by-the-book b@stard you should be ok, plus you could always rotate it 180' for the test if it was biased in one direction or the other.
