I'm down in NSW at Potato Point.
I agree with John, you have to hold the pulley and press the shaft out of it before you press it through the bearings in the body.

Ok, So here's the latest development.
I've had a new radiator made and trialed it yesterday.
The temp gauge sits at 3/4 most of the time. It gets up to just before the red when in slow traffic but when the fan cuts in it recovers quickly. Pretty happy with that.
