My 500 is an Isle of Man. The 350 is a stocker. If I restored the 350 I doubt there would be a market for it in Oz. Which is why I thought I might use it as the basis of a racebike.

I did 3 years of German at school 40 odd years ago so I have about a 20 word vocabulary. I know what shelf is (einleggeboden) for example. I'll give it a try! Does this guy have a website?

I know words like boosenhalter and kneestrumfer

Fair enough Chris, I can see your reasoning now. I too am in Australia, Hevey Bay and really wish I'd brought at least one of my 350s with me. Paul

Welcome to our wonderful country. Why the fondness for the 350?
Cheers,
Chris

Of course, this is true. Let's talk further. What's the best way - in the Forum or by email?
Cheers,
Chris
