I fitted a Nordwest barrel and piston to my Saturno with Nordwest/RC600 valves and gasflowed inlet-standard 40mm Dellorto-it flew....
Would rev happily up to the rev limiter at 8500-great fun at Cadwell Park.
I parted with the Saturno late last year and now have a Nordwest which has allegedly been 'tuned'-I don't know what if anything was done to it-but it also flies and happily revs into the limiter-runs a 15 tooth gearbox sprocket and pulls it very well.

Still on the standard Teikei carb or with Keihin CR33 smooth bores (the quickest tune up route for a Nordie)?

Still on the standard Teikei but with Arrow exhaust and K&N filter-I have been talking to John about his CR33's though.

Stuart, I did actually get these parts however I haven't fitted them as I believe you need to bore the engine cases to fit the barrel. As for the cams I think all they would do is move the engine power and torque higher in the rev range, this isn't what I require of this bike.
