Hello Folks,
Yet another question,
I'm just building the forks, book says, taper of the springs goes to the top, but the right hand leg has the small spacer at the bottom which fits into the spring, which means of course that spring has to go taper end down. Also, the preload spacers at the top are different lengths?, the long one being in the right hand fork (non brake side), hhhmmm. The fork springs are both the same length and within spec. This is the way they were when it was stripped, however, it would seem they've been apart before, is this the way they should be assembled?.

To answer my own question, perusing the older Gen mails it would seem that both fork spacers should be 55mm long.
Why the different lengths at the moment?, no idea.

I have not actually checked but do have a set of seals if the day comes I need to go in there, I have replaced Nordie seals, who hasn't??
