I'm looking for a water pump pulley for my Saturno 350. A complete pump or the main parts from one would be even better.

The pulley was damaged when it came off during operation and center has worn oval. It is probably repairable but a replacement pulley would be much simpler. The main body of the pump is also pretty beaten up but at least it looks serviceable.

Hi Mike,
If you can get on a lathe, or know a man who can, replacing the pulley center would not be hard to do.
The other option is place an order with PeMoPa but he make in batches and you may have a long wait, I made a few pumps for 600's but have never had my hands on a 350-500 pump but know they are a little smaller.

I still have one of your DIY pumps in a box on a shelf John.Is the pulley bigger on a 600 than a 350/500?

Not had my hands on the smaller pump but think shaft and pulley are the same, I think the mounting flange/location diameters are smaller, maybe the bigger 600 pump could be reduced, or the mounting in the cylinder modified, unless the bits are in front of you its not possible to say.
If Mike want to try fitting as a modification, give it a go.
I did find my alli pulleys have a down side though????

This one has never been used. One of your early versions I think. But a functioning pump or usable pulley is better than none. I'll get out the vernier gauge and find some dimensions if that helps Mike.

if i remeber right the diamter of the pulley is the same.
Although there ar at least 2 versions of the pulley.
One is somehow pressed i think, the other one is welded together from 2 parts. You can see the welded seam on the outside. Sometimes the seam seems to be removed with a turning steel on a lathe.
The pumps have several differences.
The outer diameter, the slot on the side, the thickness of the impeller, the length of the shaft.
I have both pumps here. Disassembled, so it would be easy to take measurements.

ciao Joachim
