Hi Mike,
I got mine from Bob Wright, and that was a used one, thankfully it worked. I also looked for an equivalent but no luck, it's a pretty unusual design.
Some trials bikes use an inline thermostat, I wondered if that could be used?.

Luckily I don't need one at the moment but I am concerned about the lack of availability. I doubt that a thermostat is designed to last 30 years!

However, because the thermostat is located in a separate casting it should be possible to design a new one that takes an off the shelf thermostat sometime in the future.

My other concern is radiator hoses. Mine are still good but again I know of no alternatives apart from second hand ones.

Ahh the joys of owing an unusual Italian motorcycle :laugh:
