The seal behind the primary drive sprocket on my Saturno is weeping oil. The parts book also shows an o-ring sitting behind the sprocket.

Can anyone tell me the seal & o-ring sizes? I'd like to get the replacements before starting the job.

Thanks,
Mike

Simmerring 35x47x7mm
O-ring about 24,8x1,7mm
That's what i have measured years ago.
Try to find something close by
I am not shure about the sizes which usually are available
Take care that your sprocket has a bevel on the inner side of the bore for the O-ring

Mike,
Be very careful about tightening the sprocket holder bolt, mine came off and the chain punctured the casing. I have since dabbed white paint on the bolt head and the sprocket so I can see if it is coming undone.
The washer, which is unique to the single engine, had shattered, might be worthwhile having a close inspection to check for cracks, although Joachim said mine was the only one he had seen shatter like that.
