friction plates from a smaller Honda did fit.
Available from several manufacturers like Adige, Lucas Surflex....
The alternative parts list seems to be offline at the moment

I only found:
Lucas MCC 109-8
Honda CJ 250 T
CB 250 G
CB 350 K4
CB 360 G
CJ 360 T
Fits plug and play. The inner diameter is slightly bigger compared to the original Adige one i had in my Nordie.

ciao Joachim

PS found the reason while it's offline.
The list was hosted in Strasbourg. The OVH server centre burned down a few days ago :(

Hi folks - thanks again for that information. Bob Wright had a set of plates in stock, and I received them the other day. I've soaked them in oil, and fitted them this afternoon.
Slight problem? When it's all put together again, the final plate sits proud of the basket. i.e. it's not held in place by the splines. All of the new plates are a little thicker than the old ones of course, so perhaps this is normal? I've attached a photo...is this problematic, or just one of those things?

I'm pretty sure that is not correct, in the manual I count 7 plates with outer tangs and six with inner tangs?. If this is the number of plates you had in originally, that could well be the problem, but to be honest, I doubt it would have free'd off at all.

Hi guys - thanks again for the thoughts. It's funny isn't it? As you've pointed out, the tech diagram shows 7 plates (and 6 metal internal-tang ones) whereas I pulled eight plates out of the clutch (along with 7 metal internal-tang ones), as per the photo attached. When I ordered the new set from Bob Wrights, he included 8 new plates to put back in there - so I'm confused...
I'll double-check with Bob next week, but may simply remove one plate (and corresponding metal plate) and see how that goes.

HHHMMM, I just had a look at the one that's for sale on Ebay, it seems to have seven outer tang plates? I'm confused too, however, your photo is definitely not correct, all of the outer tang plates need to be located in the slots in the clutch hub. Imagine the outer plate whizzing round then after a bit of wear touching or locating in the clutch basket?, bang!. Just a thought, but the clutch on Ebay is from a 350, my Saturno is a 350, but my manual is for the 350 and the 500, and it makes no mention of any difference in the clutches. The Saturno clutch is 15cm diameter, the older ones 14cm. Have a look at this very informative video from Garagien.

You will see there are definitely 7 outer tang plates.
