Hi guys, I have posted the fact that my nordie is abit fkat in its performance. I took off the ducati 748 exhaust which in no certain terms is so restrictive, its got so many baffles and comes out on a 1inch bore! No wonder the engine cant breath. Whats the recomended free flowing exhaust? The air filter is a bodge job and i'm going to put in a paper job, do the valves, belt, oil etc. I have a dyno read out of the bike in its history which shows peak bhp at 42. Thats low so I think its down to the exhaust, there was a leak from the conectir on the exhaust hence pop. Thers no smoke on hard riding and no oil usage so the engine sounds fit.

K-N do a good free flow filter, I usually make foam filters from 12mm thick reticulated foam glued to the original frame with Evostick.
Luca had very nice exhausts made in Italy, I bought one through Joachim in Germany, but they only seem to be available when the wind is blowing in the right direction :S
I have a very loud BS stickered Remus with a large hole through it on my Nordie, they do respond to free flow filters and exhausts ;)

As it has been some kind of startup, the price was a little bit less than normal.
So we had to wait until the wind was blowing ;)
I have just the last 2 ones here aside. They will be shipped to the new owners this week.

But you can also buy direct from the manufacturer.
Price is now not that much more than buying from Luca.
It's real awsome thing. Best ever for the Nordie ;)

They somehow have a new website which did not list the Nordie exhaust
You can still find it on the old site

You may use the contact formular for getting in touch with them. The will and can, handle english ;)

I'm not sure 42 BHP at the back wheel is that low. The OEM silencer had a pretty small outlet.

My Nordwest equipped with big bore 604 kit, head gas flowed by TTS, with CR33 Keihins and FPM (Frigerio) 'silencer' gave only 55 bhp on a dyno test. It did respond very well to the last baffle bit on the FPM can being removed though.
