I'm using Wurth dry chain lube at the moment, wondered if anyone had found anything better ?

It looks like there is nothing on the chain with the Wurth stuff but i'm assured by my local shop that it is the best .

I'm using Wurth invisible lube on my race car chain which takes a fair punishment, geared down to 120 max and drop the clutch at 8grand, feeding through 10" slicks in the softest Avon rubber, I had used something that resemble shaving cream before but it "flung" everywhere. Here in Kano I raise the bike on a stand after each ride and with an oil can put a few drops of engine oil on the chain, the surplus drips of before the next ride, so not much to fling B)

Rock Oil. Does what it says on the tin. Chain lube. A bit stringy and sticky. I used it on my racing sidecar outfit and it coped with the punishment of road racing so that endorses it in my mind.

I haven't raced for years Paul as it was getting expensive. We them moved to Minimotos for a laugh as the sidecar scene there was a hoot but I've not been 3 wheeling for about 7/8 years. I considered building another Minimoto outfit but there's little of no interest north of the Border and I 've had enough of travelling South to race.
Not been to the TT for a few years as TT week is the busiest week of the year at work and I'm responsible for planning it all and can never get away

Still one up on me though, I've never raced even though I thought I was the next Bob McIntyre or Geoff Duke in my teens. Soon realised I didn't have the balls to do it now do the next best thing and that's to Marshal and watch those than can, do what I can't. Don't work too hard during TT, at least watch the TV short re-runs. All the best,
Paul
