I was seriously considering them but I had a burst pipe and came home after a weekend away to find my ceiling on the floor and my house an inch deep in water so my attention has been focussed elsewhere - they look pretty decent bikes for the money and the added bonus of an Arrows too. Good score.

Bad luck for you-good for me.
I have suffered the dreaded starting problems, had the carb off 3 times-nasty job, but it gets easier with practice. Checked all the ignition system which checked ok. Finally in frustration I fitted new HT lead and plug cap-and now it starts........the old lead and cap measure up as fine on my meter so I think the fussy little Italian just wanted a bit of pampering-still she goes now so long may it continue.
My Saturno was never a problem to start-I even managed to kick start it when the battery was nearly dead so I don't understand why Nordies are so fussy.

The wee bit larger capacity, increased compression and lack of kickstart all add up to the starting gremlins. A bloody good battery is essential.

The last 2 batteries I have bought have been Odysseys but one is now about 8 years old that I bought for my hard to start 500 Morini and still going strong now in my RC

Got a brand new Yuasa in my Nordie-my Saturno was 558 with Nordwest barrel, piston and valves-still started fine. I personally think the bloody horrible carb is the culprit, would love a pair of CR flatslides but they will cost more than the bike did......
