Sorry for the long silence, but I have been busy, mostly scavenging parts for for the water pump.
The engine is now fully build again. New valve seals, lapped the valves and the works.

I did however noticed in the manual that I might have forgotten a rubber O-ring between the engine case and the cylinder, which should seal an oil path? Luckily nothing is torqued down yet...
For the water pump I already bought a new seal and new bearings, but after taking the damned thing apart none of the spacer rings where there. Which might explain the fact that both my bearings where shot, with one of em coming out of the body in pieces. The hard part was finding these spacer rings, but after 2 months I finally found a company near me which sold shims in an infinite amount of sizes and had the correct ones for me to use so that part of the project is now finished.
