A pair of Keihin carbs are a good start point of a modified Nordie and maybe all you will ever need,
I think I remember reading in the old GeN that 72degrees saw 57bhp on a rolling road with his 604 big bore and TTS modified head (both in the UK if any body needs??)
My 558 Saturno had 52 on a rolling road, so more than Gilera claim at the crank.
Also remember not all dybo's give out the same readings
