O-B you have gone from one extreme to the other can't we have a little middle ground to compromise,
I want to enjoy those roads not curse the bike ;)

Having now used a Honda 800 VFR and a Suzuki 1200 Bandit on the NZ roads, I've decided that either of my ex Saturnos would be ideal for really enjoying the ride outs.
Back to England mid Feb so I've not got long left over here.

Hi PPP,
From what I've seen on travel channel light and nimble is the bike you need as you say Saturno would be ideal ;)
I hope when you come back to the UK the rain/snow is warmer and maybe not quite so wet :(
