If you read through his blurb the vendor says he 'modified' it by removing the fairing, replaced the handlebars and changed the master cylinder........that does mean he chucked it up the road then...........??

Chucking it up the road removes it more quickly ;)
In my Nordturno case I think it was removed to lighten it B) as so many other bits including the fairing fixing brackets came off, some of the removed bits were in a box after all those years and still with the bike.

Errm - John Rushworth removed some of the lightening bits when he first built it but the 'streetfghtering' was done after a Cadwell incident. It still had the fairing when he first created it.

I think I've got photos of it with the fairing after it was modified, but I might have imagined that. There's a simple way to find out.....;}

How much is $5000 ozzy dollars in old money then?

I heard he highsided at cadwell and broke his wrist, trying too hard B)
