Beware John, country gripped in a new ice age, ice, snow and frost everywhere, temperatures plummeting. -8 at my house the other night and more snow.

Global warming apparently................

Hi O-B thanks for the warning, any sightings of woolly mammoths or sabre toothed tigers yet ;) I keep looking at the weather reports and wondering what the hell I've let myself in for :S I just ordered a new set of slick tyres, maybe should have considered rally snow tyres with studs :)
I bought thermal long johns and long sleeved vests last year I guess they will be in use again

Quite nice over the weekend here, it got up to about 9c, cooling down through the week though.

There was a few small bits in the float bowl, gone now of course.

I'm looking at xt600 float bowl/needle repair kits on ebay, is there a particular model or year i need or where they generic ?

Hi Sharpo, the Xt600 bits are all generic, the jetting is different though, I had an Xt and it is not having the grunt or revs of the Nordie/RC
Hmmm 9c not too bad, the coldest we get is about 12c at night with chilly winds blowing in from the Sahara just after Xmas, now its 40+ in the shade :(

The weather has taken a turn John, but bring the thermals and forget the slicks.....I'd be dragging the wets out of storage.

40 in the shade.............humbug............
