Well I had to push the bike this morning for about a mile, I had it in bits this weekend and I think I did the same trick with the fuel tap connections, filled up at the garage and set off, bike stopped and I flattened the battery trying to get it going, I now think it must not have been getting fuel. What an idiot :-! So because it was dark and I was late for work I jumped in the car, I'll have a look tonight.

Yes and part of the mile up a hill that causes many cyclists to get off and push,i I did stop halfway for a minute until my pulse dropped below 200 again (that's what it felt like anyway) I knew I should have made a note of which pipe came off where but being a clever dick I didn't bother.

Question : Viewed from the front, which pipe is which, top - in, bottom - out ? Or vice versa ?
Mine will idle all day, but will only rev for a second before what seems like fuel starvation. I can't rev it enough to even pull away. Really annoyed, spent all day getting electrics taped up, rads and bodywork back on, now I think I need to look at the carbs - grrr !!!
