Well despite my best efforts with the clutch cable it's still what I would call pretty bad. So I think I am going to have a look inside. Bloody annoying as this bike is costing me serious money now for something that is worth two bob.
Anyway that's the way its goes !
Sharpo, just to advise that I have still been playing with filters, pipes and carbs, Best Result so far is standard zorst, new carbs from Uncle Bob and a new filter. Not sure on the filter front, was running the new carbs and std zorst with a K&N, a little iffy at the bottom end but very good mid and top-end. So thought that it might be better with a full paper unit, that's now made it feel like a strangled cat ! Looked again at the filter and can now see that where the red rubber stuff has been applied to the outside/edges of the filter casing its has been applied so heavily that it actually reduces the inlet area by about 20%. Still only £7 so will go back to the K&N but perhaps add my own " prefilter"
It never ends !!!
