I've noticed the past couple of times I've moved the Nordie in the garage a small trail of petrol on the floor as I've moved it from the side stand to vertical - theres an overflow hose/tube disconnected at the bottom of the left hand carb from what I can see.
Anyway I don't want the float needles to get buggered up during the winter as the carbs were rebuilt and ultrasoniced before I bought the bike so I'd like to keep it vertical on a paddock stand at the rear - anyone recommend a decent stand that fits the Nordie or are they much of a muchness?

Hi O-B
Cant recommend paddock stands, I made one for my Saturno.

One of the overflows is a dummy, I thought it had a blockage as I could not blow through, so drilled out the plug in the side of the bowl only to find it was a blind hole on the inside  :S I run the engine till the bowl is empty after a ride, then it is not dripping on the floor.

Yeah, draining it would be the other option.

I thought about making one but they're so cheap off the Fools Bay that my lazy streak kicked in - £24 - why bust a gut when there are more fun things to do?
