Managed to source a 125 clock which is identical to my RC600 clocks, the only problem I am having is the rev counter does not work.
When I put the clock back on the bike it came off and the rev counter works. Does anyone know a work around, apparently Bob Wright says he has heard of someone getting it to work.

Many Thanks

If the rev counter is electronic it usually works from the coil I think - 125 coil and 558 coil will run different current and voltage possibly so it could be a wiring issue? Wild guess however.

Joachim, 72' or Kano might have a better answer than me.

Frayed knot. All I know is that if your battery goes flat on a GFR you get no rpm on the tacho and a non-functioning power valve even though the bike will keep running (after a fashion).

Could be the the pulse voltage is completely different on the 125 than the Nordie/RC, it may not be 12volts as it is coming out of the ecu. You could try Speedy Cables in Swansea, a big part of their business is re-calibrating and repairing clocks.

Managed to get the rev counter to work, I had to do some surgery on my old clocks. Pulled apart the clock and found a board under the rev counter, I swapped the board around with my new clock and no joy, so I had to swap the coil attached to the needle and that worked.

So the 125 clocks work but you have to swap the computer board and the coil from the rev counter. The temp gauge and the speedo both worked so was not a problem.

Thanks for you help.
