Can anyone give me the clearance between the flywheel rotor and the ignition pick up on my 91 Nordwest?

I have been through the manual and am buggered if I can find it in there.

Usual thing I am sure I have it on a piece of paper somewhere, but can't find that either. Having spent all weekend putting the bike back together and want to get it started.

there is a technical order from Gilera which tells to adjust the gap from 0.7 to 0.9mm
Maybe it is less at your Nordie.
If you can not atjust to such a big gap you will have to file a bit to make the holes in the pcikup wider.
The advice was made to give a better starting.

ciao Joachim

I finally got a message through from a mate with one of these and it is buried in 6.2 of the manual!

Correct setting is 0.4 - 0.5mm.

Went out and set it up on both pins, finished the last little jobs, put in petrol and it went 2nd press of the starter!

Is running very well and should be out properly on the road tomorrow.
