Very sorry for all the questions but is it normal that the throttle has no return action?
It's only the last 1/4 of the throttle action that has spring resistance.
I can set the throttle to 1/4 or 1/2 open and it will stay there.
I've never had a bike that does this.
Thanks, Sam.

Hi Sam the spring is in the carb along side the the twin cable pulley if my memory is correct, if its weak you could put a helper spring on the return cable.
