Hi all, a couple of points i would like some help on with my Nordwest please.
First is the cush drive.
Should the fit into the wheel via the sprocket be fairly "loose" ?
All the assembly is pretty dry, should there be any lube on the rubbers ? No pun intended !
Secondly like a twerp i gave the rear spindle a good thump thinking that it would do what all rear wheel spindles do and be very tight, but no it flew out! Thing is the two spacers came out at the same time and i had not taken a metal note, yes i know!
The drive side one i am pretty sure goes back in with the larger diameter facing the sprocket carrier, but as for the rear brake side ?
Help please
Thanks
Stephen

As a general rule, look at the faces of the spacer and fit the smaller diameter to the side where it abuts the inner race of the wheel bearing. Fit it the other way round and the wheel won't spin and the bearing may be trashed!
