Ideas and experience on removing the front wheel please, without the use of a front paddock stand !

I have used a wooden box and got it under the engine with some straps to avoid it to tilt to one of the sides.

Car jack under the sump guard or engine is worth trying with straps up to a roof joist for support.

I've used a small engine crane with a strap onto the bars, could also be done with small hoist to garage roof, I also have a paddock stand under the sump gaurd but not so stable
