looks like you need a fuel cock sticker for your fairing :)

The tank neck looks like the replica part from Luca.
Maybe i have sold this one to GB ;)

The water pump also looks strange to me.
I suppose someone has rebuild it.
The shaft usually has a centr hole. And the pulley... John said it before.

Hi
Don't quote me. But we all know someone who has the initials BW (or RW!)
The Water Pump on my Nordi is marked RW and has a solid ended shaft.
I suggest it is an Italian pump fitted with a new shaft supplied by RW in 2011. (Maybe?)
if it is that good news
If it is not leaking and rotates smoothly...leave it alone (for now)

Again no guarantee try Yamaha XT or XJ for the choke cable or TDM?

Good Luck

Update

I needed a new battery so went for Motobatt . Cleaned up all the electrical connectors for the ignition and it turns over well (all other electrical functions seem fine as well - no obvious corrosion issues). Ill obviously need to check the charging voltages when I get it running.

I refitted the carbs having checked them again as I cannot believe how clean they are inside. The new inlet manifold and new filter y piece fitted a treat (thanks to whoever made and supplied them to Chris the previous owner). I'd read it was a going to be a pain but found it a doddle to get ever everything in place.

I looked at choke cables but I've bought cheap DIY cable from ebay and Ill make one up myself (£9 probably swung it as most made cables were 2 to 3 x that much).

Just seen the sticker advert in the for sale section. So up reserve, down on and horizontal OFF.

Should have worked out what the comment meant .Thanks

Update

Back from three weeks part holiday part looking after elderly in-laws in the North West (not intended as a pun!!), remembered to buy some Esso E5 petrol (no ethanol in it where I live).

STARTED FIRT TIME.

Choke cable worked a treat and the electrics charging fine (cut out 14.44Volts). All other stuff working as well.

Panels - There are a few cracks so I'm seeing if i can repair them using ABS solvent (plumbing kit) and 1mm ABS sheet . Ill post some photos when I do it. Don't really want to get into lots of plastic welding right now as I've not decided what to do with the bike. Tempting to do full restore as bike so good but I've no emotional connection to it if I'm honest. Mind you that may change when Ive ridden it on the private lane to the house.
