Hello folks,
Has anyone stripped and repaired Saturno mirrors which are loose on the ball pivot?. Before I go to try to strip and repair them,I thought I would ask and see if anyone had any experience of working on them?,
Thanks, and happy holidays.
Alan.

My Le Mans has the same mirrors as the Saturno but with longer stems. One mirror was missing and the only replacement I could find was damaged. The plastic around the lower ball joint was stretched causing the mirror to sag. I fixed it with a couple of self tapper screws and two washers. It's a bit agricultural but it works.

If you are referring to the upper ball joint I have used glue on these in the past for mirrors that sag but it doesn't last long term.

Thanks Mike,
Nothing wrong with agricultural, it isn't seen anyway!.
I have small bar end mirrors on at the moment, and they work very well, but it would be nice to have the originals fixed and ready in the wings
