To be even more pedantic it is actually Coguar, that's the official model name as manufactured. Some people have Anglised it to Cougar, but officially it is Coguar. Paul

Interesting, I checked and it seems you are right. But what is Coguar? I looked it up on the 'net and cannot find anything definitive.

I tried Google translate, from English to Italian it suggested 'Puma', and then I tried Italian to English, Coguar, and it asked me if I meant Cougar and suggested I try Portuguese. So I typed Coguar in Portuguese and it translated to the English as, 'Crow' :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I did a google search Italian to English, typed in Italian Coguar and the English answer came back as Cougar. Coguar is the name shown in the various Italian Gilera books I've seen. Paul
