When you change a belt write in pencil inside the cover the date ;)

If you aren't certain when it was last changed and particularly if it has been standing unused for any length of time, in an unheated garage or shed, the only safe thing to do is change the belt.

there is nothing to check.
Those belts snap without any sign before.
Like said above, if you are not shure about just change it.

If you have the old belt off, just drop it on the floor and have a look.
Most of the belts of Nordies which have not been used for a long(er) time the go by themselve to the shape of the rollers in the mounted postion. Not a good sign :(

Bob wright, got it. Do I need the rotor tool, going to get air filter to. The guy I bought it off fitted an iridium plug and sed it ran ike poo compared to standardbwhich I find strange any ideas, it rins good at the recome mo but the new plug is a recomended fit?
