Is your single headlight unit setup for UK or Europe? Not a worry as a bit of creatively placed tape will help it through any MOT :)

The lights were all Euro set up as I remember. Check GeN#1 newsletter from September 1994 PDF page 9

www.gilera.org.uk/gilera/gens/gen2.PDF
for a cunning mod involving twisting the bulb in its holder to achieve a 'vertical' dip. Mine used to pass the MoT fine using this strategy (as do my GFRs).

Hi Matt,
Mail me on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and I'll send photo of the nose cone, I've never looked the bulb mounting to know how it dips but it was used in the UK 10 years ago so must have passed a mot :)

Glad we can help. I'm surprised to hear that about the Benelli Boys. Should you get the yearning for a V Twin the Morini Riders are *almost* as nice as us ;)

haha! I have a TL1000s for my V-twin yearnings!

My Morini days ended after a brief encounter with a Kanguro 350 many years ago....a nice Corsaro 1200 wouldn't be a bad addition to the garage though :)

I would have had a Corsaro or 9 1/2 instead of the Shiver if they weren't so high and heavy. I'm crossing my fingers for the 600 single Lambertini has hinted at now the marque has been rescued. Just a pity it won't have a Gilera badge (he worked for Piaggio for a time).
