Anybody with an old pump needing a rebuild, who can visit Wellingborough area I’m willing to show you how to strip and rebuild it if you come with bearings and a shaft seal.
If you don’t have bearings and seal I can show you how easy it is to come apart and how to re-assemble it afterwards
Give me a call on 07794258418, available in the workshop fettling a race car Monday to Friday mornings from 21st April to 13th May.
I hate to hear of bikes off the road

Nice one John - waterpump masterclass with the man in the know.
Aye, sounds like you've got the Nordie pump by the dimensions....bet you're well pissed off. Of course this could be the Gods kinda way of saying you should stick a 600 motor in there....
I'm about to drag my Nordwest out of winter mothballs and get it fired up again so hopefully no gremlins.

The masterclass sounds great. Does anyone know the dimensions for the required bearing?

The bearing and seal sizes are posted on the French Gilera site written by "Rapid Mouse" and look up former postings under water pumps ;)
