Well it took just under a year but the parts I needed have arrived & the rebuild is moving forward. The next problem I have is the fuel isolation valve on the tank. It leaks when it is open & closed. I bought another one (second hand) & it leaked as well. I purchased a tank from a supplier in Japan & from the photos, the tank & valve look to be in very good condition. Fingers crossed. The valve looks to be non repairable in that it is a sealed unit& can not be stripped without cutting it up. Does anyone have any experience with this type of valve? I will post a photo when I work the system out.

I managed to repair the fuel isolation valve but after a week the sealant I used when mounting the valve to thew tank failed. Next sealant I will try is Hylomar. It has a very good reputation for resistance to fuel attack. The mounted up the water pump cover when it arrived but the thermostat leaked. I can not find these units as they appear to as rare as rocking horse shit so I will need to seal it up with a sealant instead.

the covers from other 125ccm should also fit.
Maybe they will have another color ;)

Could you please send some pics of the fuel tank problem?
I am not shure that some Hylomar will fix that problem.
I had such a problem with my Nordie plastic tank.
The metal inserts in the tank have been to long, so the fuel cock seal has been not squezed in the right way.

ciao Joachim
