the covers from other 125ccm should also fit.
Maybe they will have another color ;)

Could you please send some pics of the fuel tank problem?
I am not shure that some Hylomar will fix that problem.
I had such a problem with my Nordie plastic tank.
The metal inserts in the tank have been to long, so the fuel cock seal has been not squezed in the right way.

ciao Joachim

I think you are spot on Joachim. The tank inserts are protruding & probably need 1mm taken off the tops.

funny... there are 2 gaskets under the indicator?
If one did not seal, just put another under it. Luigi special ;)
Just mount the indicator without any gasket to see how much gap is there.
Next you can calculate if the gaskets are pressed or not.
Maybe you can then cut another gasket (the one on the left side) from an old bicycle tube (i did this for my Nordie about 15 years ago and it's still ok :) )
Just to see if it's getting better or not
Before you cut away something from the aluminium inserts.

good luck, Joachim

Thanks Joachim.
I the segmented gasket is a moulded O Ring section. The one in the photo is 2mm but it has hardened from age. I thought I found a replacement from a Yamaha fuel valve but they were much bigger. It looks as if these seals are as rare as the thermostats.
I measured the gap as you suggested & there is about a 1mm crush so I will continue down the Hylomar route and let you know how it goes. If it still isn't leaking after a couple of weeks I think it will be OK.
Cheers

Well all the leaks have been stopped so I took her out for a ride this afternoon which must be the first time she has been on the road under her own power in hell knows who many years and what a great little bike. No body work, no registration and on a suburban st but shit it was good fun. Looking forward to getting her finished & taking her for a ride. I will put her on the dyno though first to make sure the carburation is ok. It feels a little rich on the needle but when the power valve opens at about 7K rpm she lifts up the skirt and takes off, well as much as a road going 125 can any way.
Great day
