Congratulations from the US!
We shared the feeling of a long awaited start-up. I've been running my CX for ~18 months. It was in very good condition, when found. But for the last 14 years I've battled with a Café bike build. We lit it off yesterday. An RD350 frame with a modified Suzuki T500 engine. Promise yourself you will never try this @ home!

Good fortune, R3~

Your build would be one hell of a machine R3. That series of Suzy motors were great motors. Back in the mid 70's a mate built a trick 315 & it was my first test of a race pre 2 stroke. To say my eyes were the size of dinner plates when I got back would be an understatement. :)

Nice to hear the CX is alive and kicking, and remember it's only illegal to ride like that when you get caught ;}

Timely reminder Overbomber. I live on a nice section of street that is both reasonably quiet but popular with a few of the lads. We had a police car patrolling here yesterday morning putting paid to some fun. Still as you say you have to be caught first. :)

Took her to the dyno today to check the carburation. Dropped the needle 1 groove & she ran lovely. 23.4 neck snapping HP. Add 12.5% if you want dynojet HP. Great fun

:woohoo:
